Happy November, Academy Families!

What a fantastic time we had at our Fall Ball! Thank you to everyone who joined us for games, crafts, food, and incredible performances by our talented students! We're already looking forward to more exciting events on our calendar, so keep an eye out for more opportunities to join in the fun.

A huge thank you as well to everyone who participated in the Battle of the Cans! Thanks to your generosity, all donations are being delivered to Harvest Hope to support families in need. Congratulations to Team Voice for winning the title of top donors for the second year in a row!

We'd also like to give a special shout-out to everyone who came out to support our Director, Marty Fort, and his band, The Capital City Playboys, as they opened for Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters at the Midlands Tech Harbison Theatre. It was a fantastic show, and we're thrilled to have shared the night with so many of you! Check out some of the pictures below:

Our Academy carolers and other students will be performing at the Final Victory Animal Rescue Holiday Fundraiser!  Please stop by this free public event to support the local animal shelter, check out holiday crafts, food trucks, and see our students!

We're excited to see all our students shine on stage at our January 2025 Winter Recitals! In case you missed it, this year's recitals will take place at the W.W. Hootie Johnson Performance Hall in the Darla Moore School of Business. Week 1 will run from January 10th to 12th, 2025, and Week 2 from January 17th to 19th, 2025.

Musical Ladder System® Achievements!

The Columbia Arts Academy, Lexington School of Music & Irmo Music Academy are the only music schools in the Midlands that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests with the Musical Ladder System®. It was actually created by academy Director Marty Fort. It has been awarded multiple patents and is being used by schools nationwide.

Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool "Musical Ladder System®" wristbands that they can show off to their friends.

Welcome New Students!

Please Welcome the our new students who registered in the past month!
